It’s clear from the Bible that God has carefully designed the plan on which to build God’s Church, illustrated in stones/rocks. First, there are the reminders of God’s lovingly powerful provisions (Memory Stones). Then comes the foundation, the Cornerstone, Who is Jesus Christ Himself, providing identity and direction. Finally, there are the building blocks, the Living Stones, the people – that’s us! — through whom God continues to work and speak. As we move to a new building, let’s be sure we allow God to build it by God’s design!
