Dirke and Lorna Johnson

For over 40 years, this ministry has advanced the Great Commission by building leaders who serve the campus, community, and world in the power of the Holy Spirit. Through global leadership development, theological training, and university partnerships, Dirke equips indigenous leaders to impact every sphere of society and provides oversight for thousands of students and pastors worldwide. Alongside this work, Lorna serves with Cru City, sharing the hope of Jesus with urban youth—particularly homeless and at-risk high school athletes—by offering spiritual care and practical support. Together, we are building lasting spiritual movements so that every person, in every place, can know and follow Jesus.

Lisa teaches fourth grade at Okinawa Christian School International. With an international student body from at least 10 countries and 75 percent of students from non-Christian homes, OCSI offers many exciting ministry opportunities!

She was born and raised in a missionary home in Japan. Through the influence of my fourth-grade teacher at a small school for missionary children, she trusted Christ. Because of the impact of this teacher, she knew she wanted to make a difference in the lives of children.
